Clarification about monocytes prediction

In the cell freq dataset, there are monocytes and classical monocytes, may I have a clarification about prediction target, which monocytes refer to? Thanks.

Hi @Joe,

  • CMI-PB cell frequency data has both parent (cell_type_name: Monocytes) and child populations (cell_type_name: Classical Monocytes, Non-Classical Monocytes, Intermediate Monocytes) of monocytes. Gating information on these populations can be accessed here.
  • The two tasks (2.1 and 2.2) are specific to predict the parent monocyte (cell_type_name: Monocytes) population.
